I Want To Be A Substitute
Thank you for your interest in substitute teaching in the Roseland School District!
We’re excited to guide you through the process of becoming a substitute teacher. Please follow these steps:

Obtain 30-Day Substitute Clearance
Complete the 30-day substitute teacher clearance through the Sonoma County Office of Education (SCOE). -
Submit Your Application
Apply via EdJoin at https://www.edjoin.org/Home/JobPosting/2030524. Note: As required by Education Code Section 44939.5, you must provide the Roseland School District with a comprehensive list of all school districts, county offices of education, charter schools, and state special schools where you have been employed. -
Complete the Substitute Packet
Download, print, and fill out the Substitute Packet forms from the RSD website. -
Submit Your Documents
Once your EdJoin application and Substitute Packet are complete, submit them along with a copy of your Social Security card and a valid form of ID (Driver’s License, Passport, etc.) to the district office at 1691 Burbank Ave, Santa Rosa, CA 95407. We are open from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday.
